Cookie Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Jortel Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 91 610 642 521), trading as Jortelligence ("we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you access or use the J-Voice platform (the "Service"). This policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use a web application. Cookies are widely used to make websites and applications work more efficiently, to provide a better user experience, and to provide information to the operators of the site or application.

Cookies may be "session" cookies (which are deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose content or services are embedded in the website ("third-party cookies").

2. Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies:

2.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They include:

  • Authentication tokens: Used to securely identify you after you sign in and to maintain your authenticated session;
  • Session identifiers: Used to maintain the state of your session as you navigate the Service;
  • Security tokens: Used to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other security threats;
  • Load balancing: Used to distribute traffic across servers and ensure consistent performance.

Duration: Session and up to 30 days for persistent authentication. First-party only.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They include:

  • User preferences: Used to remember your display settings, language preferences, and dashboard configuration;
  • Feature state: Used to remember which features you have used or dismissed (such as onboarding prompts or notification banners).

Duration: Up to 12 months. First-party only.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service so we can improve it. We use:

  • Vercel Speed Insights: Collects anonymised performance metrics (page load times, web vitals) to help us optimise the Service. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: Counts page views and visitors so we can see which pages people use. It sets no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information, and a password-reset or sign-in code in a page's address is removed before anything is sent.

Duration: Session. Privacy-respecting, anonymised data only.

2.4 Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set cookies when you interact with their features embedded in our Service:

  • Stripe: Sets cookies for payment security, fraud detection, and to comply with PCI DSS requirements when you interact with payment forms. See the Stripe Cookie Policy for details.

3. How to Control Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk;
  • Block third-party cookies;
  • Block cookies from specific websites;
  • Block all cookies;
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser.

For instructions on how to manage cookies in your browser, please visit:

Please note: If you disable or delete essential cookies, the Service may not function correctly. You may be unable to sign in, your session may not persist, and certain features may be unavailable. We recommend that you keep essential cookies enabled.

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. As there is currently no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT signals, the Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, we limit our use of tracking technologies to what is described in this policy.

5. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our practices, or applicable laws. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice within the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
